One fun trail run in North Dakota 2

Pretty sure I was taking a pic of a bird which you cannot even tell. he is a little black mark. there were many birds seen on this vac that do not hang out in Wisconsin. Unfortunately no love from the prairie chickens.

cool mushrooms - wonder if they were magic ones.

Some form of wild bleeding hearts

Edelweiss I think

More mud

You can't see it but the bird on the fence is another cool ND bird. Looks like a skunk, has big white stripe - not that you can tell.

there is his wing, real helpful, I know.

tracks of some water fowl or maybe a turkey or the never present on our vac prairie chicken.

Ok I know, enough of the hole.

Muddy water to the knee, at times to the thigh.

Yup mor

foot prints not in the sand The hotel maid probably hated us. Filthy tub cleaned shoes and everything in there. Gross.

Although this pic is faked, a happy side effect of running thru grass in Vibrams or barefoot is getting flowers lodged between your toes and looking down and seeing that happened while you are running is cool.Huge dragonflies on one sector of the trail. Pic as great as my bird piThis is a before pic, they were butt nasty after. Other side of the road is the continuing trail running other direction. That was the heavily cow infested side we did the next day. This was one of the main roads in the area if ND has main roads, it was paved, most were not. No problem getting buck naked and changing right on the side of the road. Traffic was rare and it was flat enough plenty of warning if someone was coming.THE END
